It's Oktoberfest!

It's October 1st and it's nearly the end of Oktoberfest! Think that seems strange? So did we. You can learn about how Oktoberfest started in our video from last year reviewing KC Bier Co's Festbier.

But you haven't missed it yet! We'll be celebrating by volunteering with ZZ Hops to serve beer at the Oktoberfest festival at Crown Center this weekend. Come see us between 2:30 and 6:30 on Saturday and take a photo with us.

Whether you're at Oktoberfest or celebrating from home you'll want to enjoy a German Bier (in a Two Blondes stein of course) and we're loving Marzen's and also this week's review of Dovetail Brewery's Vienna Style Lager

What does a milk frother have to do with beer? Well you'll have to watch the video to find out. But trust us, you're going to need this milk frother in your life for October.

Here's a recipe we mention in the video, for your morning coffee, you know, to start your day after enjoying all those German biers.
Pumpkin Cream Cold Foam
2 oz non-fat milk
6 oz heavy cream
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
2 tbs pumpkin puree
1/4 tsp pumpkin spice
pinch of salt
Mix ingredients in a small mason jar and store in the fridge. Pour small amount into coffee mug use your milk frother, top with coffee. You're welcome!

Prost!
